Domaine Les Hautes-Briguières is nestled between Mormoiron and Villes-sur-Auzon, two authentic Provençal villages nestled between the Monts de Vaucluse and the giant of Provence, Mont Ventoux. At an elevation of 350 meters, amid the chirping of cicadas and fields of lavender, our vineyards enjoy abundant sunshine tempered by the cool breezes of Mont Ventoux. It is in this unique terroir—clay, limestone, and passion—that we have been crafting wines for generations that tell the storyof this landof light and character.
WHAT TO DO IN THE AREA?
The region is full of treasures waiting to be discovered. Just a stone’s throw from the estate, Lac des Salettes in Mormoiron offers supervised swimming in the summer, with its natural sandy beach and the restaurant “La Cahute” on a shaded terrace. For thrill-seekers, Ventoux Aventure Park features tree-top adventure courses perched amid ochre cliffs, accessible to children ages 3 and up. The more athletic can explore the Gorges de la Nesque, a spectacular scenic route between Villes-sur-Auzon and Monieux. And to soak up the Provençal spirit, nothing beats a stroll through the ochre cliffs of Mormoiron or a morning at the Bédoin market, just a few kilometers away.
